Engraved lamacoid labels for electrical and industrial equipment

Lamacoid is a layered engraving plastic. When we laser engrave through the top layer, the core colour shows through, so the text stays crisp and readable for years. It is the standard way to label electrical panels, breakers, transformers, control panels and valves across Ontario.

Frequently asked questions

What is lamacoid?
Lamacoid is a laminated engraving plastic with a thin coloured face over a contrasting core. Engraving removes the face so the lettering appears in the core colour. It is durable, easy to read and the most common material for electrical and industrial labels in Canada.
Can you make labels from a panel schedule or spreadsheet?
Yes. Send us your schedule, spreadsheet or drawings with the text for each label and we will engrave them to match.
What should I include when I ask for a quote?
The more detail the better: sizes, quantities, colours, the text for each label, how they will be mounted and where they will be used.
